The Striped Top
A striped sweater is a closet staple and the perfect item to layer under or over trendy pieces in your closet. I recently got this striped sweater from Amazon and have really liked wearing it as the weather gets chilly. It’s a very nice quality knit, has a nice weight to it, but it’s not too heavy or hot making it a perfect staple for these transitional months. I’m typically between a small and a medium in tops and got a medium, but also think a small would have worked. It really depends on if you want it to fit a bit loose or not. The Easy Cardigan
This cardigan is my go-to when I want an extra layer, but also want to look and feel put together. It sits on the back of my office chair for chilly work days and comes with me to the theatre and date night. It’s a heavier knit, but still breathable and hits just below my hip for a flattering and modern length. When shopping for cardigans I really wanted functional pockets, an option with closures and something affordable that was good quality. This fits the bill and comes in a large selection of colors! I got my true size and fits great! I styled this up with some pieces I already had in my closet, but linked similar versions on Amazon for easy purchasing. A Versatile Body Suit
This Amazon body suit has probably been shared by every influencer, but it’s still worth a mention here too. I have a few versions of this style from the same brand, but tend to gravitate toward this long sleeve option for easy layering. The material is a nice weight, is not see through and is comfortable for all day wear. Highly recommend for all your fall layering needs! Here I styled it up with a slip dress I had in my closet, simple gold hoops and UGG socks and platforms. Such a simple and well layered outfit that is easy to put together!

A Chic Knit Set
On a recent trip I saw a lady wearing this set in the airport Starbucks line and immediately complemented her on it. I then immediately went to go order it! It’s such a chic and elegant set, perfect when you want to feel put together at home or if you have to step out to run errands. Its a lighter and somewhat of a thinner knit, but great quality and value. I originally purchased the short sleeve version and currently have this brown long sleeve version on order. I went up a size to a medium in my first set and while I do like the extra room, I could have gone with my true size. I kept the styling simple and paired it with with my platform UGG boots and cozy faux fur jacket.

The Knit Maxi Skirt
If Summer was the time for the denim maxi skirt, then fall is the season to incorporate a knit version. I’m loving this Amazon option that comes with a matching top for a monochromatic look. It can easily be layered with a sweater and tall boots for the cooler weather. I currently have this on route to me, but wanted to include this trendy style in my list to get on your radar. I styled up this red version I had at home, which I’ve actually had since I was in college! I paired it with a vintage silk color blocked blouse and funky studded belt.
